World Language Week
Alpine Thunder is once again participating in the World Language Week at Vernon Hills High School. We will perform as a trio providing a cultural program empahsizing German langauage and culture through German folk/pop music.

Alpine Thunder Spring/Summer 2021
Starting in April Alpine Thunder has been regularly performing at the Edelweiss and Schnitzel Platz restaurants. We are anticipating a far better Spring/Summer schedule in 2021 compared to last year. Pandemic and Alpine Thunder Performances

Oktoberfest In August
Alpine Thunder does an Oktoberfest celebration at McCormick place for the Bavarian based Sixt S.E. Company. Sixt S.E. provides rental car services in many countries throughout the world.
Rare Tyrolean Mountain Alphorn
Alpine Thunder team member, Jim Langenberg, has added a new valve alphorn to his performances. As we know there were only three of these made by a German instrument company. We have given the new alphorn a knickname: The Rare Tyrolean Mountain Horn.
Tornos Grand Opening
Swiss based company Tornos will have their grand opening in the Chicagoland area on April 30th. Alpine Thunder will be providing an Alphorn Thunder trio for the event.
