Alpine Thunder Participates in German American Events LLC Christkindlmarket in Aurora
Alpine Thunder enjoyed participating for the third year in a row at the Christkindlmarket Aurora. The warming hut staging area always invites a warm and enthusiastic audience. The German American LLC organization also manages the the Chicago Downtown and Wrigleyville locations.
Alpine Thunder Expands To A Regional Band
Alpine Thunder is proud in expanding their coverage beyond the Chicagoland area. In 2025, our 21st anniversary, we have expanded to nearby states for performances in Indiana, Wisconsin, and Iowa.

Alpine Thunder Celebrates 20th Anniversary
We certainly did not think that we would be an active German Folk/Pop music group for 20 years in the Chicagoland area. It all started with a neighbor conversation, and next thing you know we successfully completed a number of performances in that same year. Thanks to all that made it possible! We are looking forward to many more performances to come. Prost!
